So there I am dripping with sweat, mouth agape gasping for air, legs on fire as I coax them to propel me just a bit further along the trail.

My heart is beating over 180 times per minute as as it has been for the last hour-and-a-half and I want nothing more than to collapse in a heap on the side of the trail.

Sounds like some sort of self-induced torture, huh? No, it’s just another intermediate level mountain bike race and I’m loving every minute of it.

Now, you don’t have to be a racer or any sort of elite athlete to enjoy the excitement and benefits of cycling. Whether its road riding, mountain biking, cyclocross, or just spinning on the trainer, cycling is a super fun way to get fit and stay that way.
